We will have our 4th time at WDW at the end of Mar. Our son is 12/daughter is 16. We have done MK each time and have not stayed on Disney property. Any suggestions for best tween/teen best hotel on property and any 'top tween/teen' spots? Thank you!

    Kay:

I have children in their teens and 'tweens. Any of the Boardwalk resorts are first choices for them with Beach Club coming out on top. The resort offers a pool with a unique sandy bottom, a hot tub, and a slide that even a "cool" high school kid would enjoy. Its proximity to not only the Boardwalk sights and nightly entertainment but also the back entrance of Epcot allows me to feel like I can give them the freedom to hit the parks early or stay out a little later than me and my husband.

In January, our boys enjoyed the ESPN Club for its wall-to-wall tv coverage of the NFL playoffs. Its arcade was an added bonus. Nearby Beaches & Cream provided a perfect backdrop for a fun competition with its Kitchen Sink. A short walk over to the Swan Hotel puts you in the middle Fantasia Gardens, one of Disney's miniature golf courses. It's another favorite of our kids. There's simply lots to discover at the Boardwalk resorts!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
