This will be our 1st time visiting WDW (4). I would like to plan for Nov 25-28 2015 due to the fact my daughter will be turning 16yrs old on Thanksgiving and I want to make it special. What advice can you give me on planning, vacation packages?

    Hi Tacaesa,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  It is smart to be starting your planning this far in advance.  Some early planning goes a long way in setting yourself up for a great vacation!

I suggest that you order the free Walt Disney World planning DVD.  This DVD is available for free, and on it you can see attractions, resorts and so much more at Walt Disney World.  I suggest that you view this with your whole family to see what is the most appealing to you at Walt Disney World.

The first decision that I suggest you make is to choose a resort.  There are great descriptions of the Walt Disney World resorts available online.  I suggest that as soon as you know which resort you would like to book that you call Disney at 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639) to make your resort reservation.  At that time, you can speak with the cast member about all of the options you have in making this reservation.  Although there are not special offers released yet for the time that you are traveling, keep an eye on the Special Offers & Deals page to see if any come up.

Since you are celebrating a birthday while you are at Walt Disney World and are looking for ways to make it special, I suggest that you take a look at the Disney Floral and Gifts website.  The Dream Makers there can customize gifts for any occasion, including making unique and personalized gifts for birthdays.

I hope that these ideas give you a starting point for planning your magical vacation, Tacaesa.  Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
