The time has come to start planning out which day is for which park. However, I read park hours aren't available until 180 days out. Also, ADRs start 180 days out as well. How do you plan ADRs in advance without knowing general park hours? Thanks!

    Hi Jonathan,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Like you, I like to plan my Walt Disney World vacations ahead of time. So much of the fun is in the planning for me!

Typically, you can find hours for Walt Disney World theme parks about six months out. Please be aware that these may be adjusted as the actual dates near. Also, Disney Dining reservations will open up for you 180 days in advance of your vacation.

While these two occurrences, the releasing of the theme park hours and ability to make dining reservations, are typically fairly close together, there are some things that should help you in your planning. There are some unofficial websites, such as intercot.com, that maintain a historic record of past park hours. If you visit that website and click on the link for "info central," by scrolling down the page you will come to a link for the "Historical Park Hours Archive." This may give you an idea of what park hours were during your time of year in the past. They of course cannot predict future hours, but can give you an idea.

Also, if there is the possibility of making a dining reservation outside of typical park hours, such as a very early character breakfast at Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot, do not worry. There will be cast members at the entrances to these park with a list of guests who have dining reservations, and if you do have a dining reservation, you will be allowed access to the park with plenty of time to get to your reservation.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Jonathan! Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
