    Todd from WI Asked

how much time would be saved y purchasing tickets online?

Hello, Todd from Wisconsin. I like the bilingual subtlety exercised in your conjunction. Well played.

The only time-saving element of purchasing tickets online would be in what you plan to do after you arrive at the airport. If you're taking Disney's Magical Express from the airport to your Disney resort, you'll end up going directly to your resort and won't benefit from having your park tickets already in hand. If you plan to rent a car or take a cab from the airport and go directly to the parks, you'll save some time. Personally, the price (it's free!) and convenience of using Disney's Magical Express trumps the hour or two you could save with a cab or rental car.

That doesn't mean you're without options for saving time on the front end though. One of the best ways to save time is by using Disney's Online Check-In Service before you arrive. In fact, you can check-in to your resort - online - up to 10 days prior to your arrival. When you get to your resort, just follow the signage and pick up your packet of goodness. In it, you'll find your room keys/park tickets and information about Walt Disney World and your resort.
