    Thais from FL Asked

What time should I make the reservation for Tokyo to watch the fireworks at Epcot?I have 8.10 or 9pm, but I'm afraid I wont get a good table if I take the latter, and dont want to be 'invited out' if I go early. Any other tips to use DDP there?

Hello there, Thais! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

It was recently announced that IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will soon be coming to an end after an amazing 20-year run. This bittersweet announcement means that we will be getting an all-new nighttime spectacular in the near future, Epcot Forever!  In the meantime, you will definitively want to take the time view IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth one more time before its finale on September 30th, 2019!

Tokyo Dining is one of the many dining locations positioned around World Showcase Lagoon, making it an excellent place to watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth! This authentic Japanese dining location also offers some delicious takes on traditional cuisine. It doesn’t get much better than delicious dining and a show!

Personally, I tend to make advanced dining reservations on the earlier side. This gives me and my family enough time to get to the dining locations, be seated, and enjoy our meal prior to the start of the show. I have never had an issue with doing this at any dining location on property, however, I would suggest letting your server know your plans prior to beginning your meal. This way, they are aware that you are not in a rush and may be able to recommend a good viewing location for this classic nighttime spectacular!

I hope this information helps you and your family have a magical time viewing IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth!
