How much time would you plan to get through security Christmas Eve at HS and Christmas Day at Epcot? Probably arriving around 9:45am. Have dining reservations and trying to plan ahead. thanks!

    Hi Nicole,

You're visiting Walt Disney World during my favorite time of year!  Christmas at the theme parks and resorts is gorgeous, and so very festive!  You're going to have such a wonderful time on your vacation...I'm excited for you!

As amazing as this time of year is at the parks, it is really busy.  Security is taken very seriously (a great thing), and it will more than likely be a little slower than usual because of the crowds.  Just to be safe, I'd give security check at least 30 minutes.  Keep in mind that you still have to check in at least 15 minutes before your dining reservation AND you have to walk to the restaurant from the park entrance.  Make sure to allow time for that if you have a dining plans as soon as you arrive.

I hope this helps, Nicole.  Have a very merry and magical vacation!
