How much time to get from old key west to 1900 park fare? Do you have to arrive early for dinner, ahead of your reservation time?

Hi Melanie! Traveling from resort to resort using the Disney transportation is not always quick. Whenever you can budget it I suggest a taxi as the trip using this method will only take you about 15 minutes. Many carry carseats and many are vans that can carry large families. Have your resort concierge call for one.  The Best way using the Disney buses would be to catch the Magic Kingdom bus and once you are at the park transfer to the resort monorail.  The Grand Floridian is the fourth stop. This trip  can take as long as an hour depending on how long you wait for the bus or the monorail.

It is suggested you arrive for your dining reservation about 10 minutes ahead of the time. The generally will hold a reservation for about 15 minutes after the stated time. I like to give myself enough time so we aren't stressing and rushing. The Grand Floridian is a lovely resort and if you arrive early you can explore or sit in the lobby late afternoon/early evening and listen to the orchestra or piano music.
