Any time in Nov or Dec 2012 that is as slow as the end of Jan beginning of Feb? Came in mid-May and the crowds weren't for us! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

    Hi Diana,

If you're looking to avoid crowds, there are actually some pretty great times to visit Walt Disney World in November and December. As long as you avoid the weeks including holidays, you'll be fine.

All of November, with the exception of Thanksgiving week and Veteran's Day weekend, is considered a low-crowd time. Also, December is not busy up until about the 18th, when some schools start to let out for Christmas break. You'll want to avoid the parks from then until after the new year, when crowds are at their peak.

If you're looking to enhance your visit with special events, consider coming to Walt Disney World either the first week of November or the first week of December. Both are low-crowd times with extra ooomph. In early November, you'll be able to catch the tail end of Epcot's Food & Wine Festival. This is one of my favorite events of the year, with delicious food everywhere and incredible guest chefs in attendance. In early December, you'll find that the holiday decorations will be up throughout the parks. You can see the Osborn Family Dancing Lights, the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House, and many other festive sights, all without crowds in your way.

Good luck with your planning and please let us know if we can provide additional help.
