What time is lunch available at Scuttle's Cove? What is served? Thanks!

Welcome back, Tara! My children love to spend time with the counselors and their new cruise friends at Scuttle's Cove youth club on the beach when we visit Disney's Castaway Cay on our cruise vacations! We always have beach time together as a family first and then a few hours into our day, they're itching to join in on the activities and games in Scuttle's Cove, so we drop them off there while my husband and I head out to Serenity Bay to relax.

Lunch is usually served to the kids who are in Scuttle's Cove at about noon. When my kids have been there to dine with friends, the counselors have walked the kids over to Pop's Props shelter to eat. They get their choices of all sorts of delicious items on the buffet at Cookies BBQ. Some of our favorites there are the burgers, the BBQ ribs, couscous, chicken, salads, and of course the delicious cookies! My kids get a kick out of eating with other kids when they sail instead of always with Mom and Dad, so they have asked to be dropped off at Scuttle's Cove often just before lunchtime and have always enjoyed the walk over to the picnic shelter with their group and a fun lunch with new buddies.

Have fun planning your Disney cruise, Tara, and please stop back again with any other questions as you get ready to set sail!
