1st time @ DW and I want to chart out my day. How far apart should I allow for each ride? I know what FP rides we want to do. An hour ea? In that hour will there be downtime is that when we would shop, ride other rides that are not FP, eat?

    Hi Kaylene,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!

I understand from your question that you already have a list of attractions for which you plan to obtain FastPass+ selections during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. As you know, you’re limited to 3 FastPass+ selections per person, per day. If you plan to spend more than 3 hours in a Theme Park every day, and you’re able to schedule your selections an hour apart, chances are you’ll have more than just the time in-between your selections to be able to experience all that each Theme Park has to offer, including other attractions and dining experiences!

When I develop a touring plan for my family, I usually schedule our FastPass+ selections for either late morning/early afternoon or, if we plan to return to a Theme Park at night, for evening selections either before or after our dinner. I’ll sometimes schedule them an hour apart, but sometimes I’ll break them up before/after our preferred meal time.

Because we usually arrive at our chosen Theme Park when it opens, we’ve found that it’s not worth it to schedule our FastPass+ selections for when we arrive as the wait times are usually lower in the morning.

I hope my answer helps you come up with a good touring plan for your family! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
