We will be 1st time Disneyworld visitors in June 2014. Can you recommend which rides to fastpass in each park with a 5 year old girl and 7 year old boy. My husband and I are willing to split up to cover the most ground. Thanks!

    Hi Kristie,

Congratulations on booking your very first Walt Disney World vacation. You're in for a magical adventure! Since you are planning on making FastPass+ selections, you won't have to split up and an attraction is more fun with the whole family, right? To start, I would suggest measuring your prince and princess to see if they will be tall enough to ride every attraction. To ride most of the attractions, Guests have to be 44 inches or taller. Here's a quick list of some of the most popular FastPass rides in each park, and their height requirements:
    • Magic Kingdom - Space Mountain (44 inches), Splash Mountain (40 inches), Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (40 inches), Dumbo the Flying Elephant (any height), Seven Dwarf's Mine Train (coming soon!), Peter Pan's Flight (any height), and The Barnstormer (35 inches).
    • Epcot - Test Track (40 inches), Soarin' (40 inches), Maelstrom (any height), and Mission: SPACE (44 inches).
    • Hollywood Studios - Toy Story Mania, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Star Tours (40 inches), and Tower of Terror (40 inches).
    • Animal Kingdom - Expedition Everest (44 inches), Kali River Rapids (38 inches), and Dinosaur (40 inches).

There are many other great attractions that aren't on the FastPass+ selection list and have no height requirement, so be sure to look those up on the Walt Disney World attractions webpage.

I hope this answered your question, Kristie. If you have any more questions before your vacation, feel free to ask us anytime.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
