Hello this is my 1st time going to Disney and we want to know is is more easier to just buy magic kingdom tickets when we get there at gate and is it cheper?

    Hey, howdy, hey, Keirra!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm happy to help you get ready for a magical Disney Parks vacation.

You are certainly welcome to purchase your theme park tickets after you arrive at your destination. However, I highly recommend purchasing your tickets beforehand. There usually isn't a difference in price when you purchase your tickets from Disney ahead of time versus at the parks. But there are some potential advantages to pre-purchasing that you may wish to consider. One big advantage is that you can save precious vacation time by not having to wait in line at the ticket booths. Another advantage is that some travel agents and authorized ticket sellers may have tickets available at a slight discount. Let's go over some other benefits, which vary based on your preferred vacation destination.

    Disneyland Resort
Let's start with where it all started: the Disneyland Resort in California. "Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom" offers theme park tickets for anywhere from one to five days. Use your theme park tickets at either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. The main advantage with pre-purchasing tickets to the Disneyland Resort is that when you choose a multi-day ticket of three, four, or five days, your ticket will come with one Magic Morning early admission entitlement to Disneyland Park

    Walt Disney World Resort
With four theme parks, including the iconic Magic Kingdom Park, two water parks, hundreds of dining locations, and much more, the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida offers a tremendous variety of choices for your vacation. There are a few more ticket options available as well. When you purchase your tickets prior to arrival, you may take advantage of the complimentary Disney FastPass+ service early. FastPass+ lets you make prior reservations for expedited access to up to three attractions each day of your visit. Selections of available FastPass+ times may be made up to 30 days before your visit. Guests staying at one of the many Disney Resort Hotels may make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days before their first day. The FastPass+ service may also be utilized on the day of your visit. Though preferred times for some of the most popular attractions may not be as plentiful on the day of your visit.

Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets are purchased for specific dates. The process of selecting standard theme park tickets is similar to purchasing for Disneyland Resort, letting you choose the number of days, the ticket type, date of visit, and numbers of tickets for the two available age ranges.

Whether you visit the Disneyland Resort or the Walt Disney World Resort, you are sure to find a magical experience. Thanks for your question, Keirra. It’s a pleasure to help. Please stop by again with any more questions you may have.
