Hi Moms this will be my 2n time coming to Disney world my family and i will be there for ten days starting thanksgiving evening 2017 i was wondering about making plans for TG dinner possible disney springs area we are staying at AOA wanted to be close

    Hi Heather,

My family loves spending Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World, and we're already debating where we want to eat Thanksgiving dinner this year. There are so many delicious options, and many of the restaurants offer Thanksgiving specials.

At Disney Springs, you'll find a wide variety of restaurants at all price points. I know that Raglan Road, Portobello and Wolfgang Puck Cafe usually have a turkey dinner special each year. We've found that other restaurants do a nod to Thanksgiving, even if there isn't a special For example, one year we ate at Boma, where the buffet featured turkey next to the usual African fare.

Other restaurants I'd consider at Disney Springs include Chef Art Smith's Homecoming Kitchen (where they serve amazing fried chicken year-round); the Boathouse, with a beautiful view and a yummy seafood-focused menu; and STK Orlando, where the sides almost outshine the delicious steak, and for me, Thanksgiving is all about the sides.

Whatever you choose, I'd suggest making your advanced dining reservation right at the 180 day mark, which I believe will be May 27. Some of the most popular Thanksgiving locations, such as Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom, book up almost immediately.

I hope that helps with your decision, Heather. Please check back if we can offer more recommendations.

    Enjoy!
