How much time should we allow to spend at Downtown Disney? We're not big shoppers. Just want to let the kids pick up a few souvenirs, eat a counter service meal, and at least say we've been there! We missed this on our last trip 2 years ago. Thanks!

    Hi Rhonda,

I would think an evening or a few hours on your last day would do for your family. The shops at Downtown Disney do have some exclusive items. They have an art gallery and of course the World of Disney store. Other stores the children may like is Lego Imagination Center which is really a store and not a theme park like in California. Your children will be able to make models and race cars. Mattel's Once Upon a Toy has all the famous Mattel toys with the Disney flair.

On the West Side, there is more shopping, movie theater and DisneyQuest which is an interactive, indoor theme park.

For dining, my family really enjoyed Wolfgang Puck, and my family is not usually into exploring new flavors. However, to quote my 11 year old daughter, "It is the best pizza ever!" that says a lot. The menu also offers more than pizza.

    Have a great trip!
