Have tickets with park hopper option. Would the following plan work? We will go to AK in the morning, MK in the evening. Will reserve the FPs for MK only and use Standby for AK. When we enter AK, will we be able to keep FP for MK or will they dissappear?

Hello Gorkem, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

Congratulations on getting off to a great start with a great itinerary. I love being able to take advantage of the Park Hopper Option when I visit the Walt Disney World Resort. I feel it is one of the best ways to make use of every magical minute spent in Disney Theme Parks.

Anytime you make FastPass+ selections for a theme park, regardless of which one you visit first, they will not disappear when you visit the other park. Since you are planning to use the Standby queues at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, I would recommend getting to the park before it opens and heading straight to your favorite or must-do attraction first thing in the morning. This will minimize your wait time for those rides and attractions. I would also suggest that you download the My Disney Experience mobile app if you have not done so already. This will give you up-to-date information on wait times for rides and attractions during your visit. I love using this app for this purpose because it will allow me to decide which attraction I would like to experience next based on how long its wait time is.

Your FastPass+ selections will be waiting for you when you arrive at the Magic Kingdom for the evening. You will also have the option to add a fourth FastPass+ selection after you have used your initial 3 selections, as long as there is availability for other attractions in the Magic Kingdom. Happy planning, and if you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
