We have tickets for MVMCP on Dec 16th. Bringing my 85 year old Mom in a wheelchair for her first WDW trip. Where's the best place to be for her to see the Parade and Holiday Wishes performance? There will be a total of 9 of us. Any other tips?

    Hi Denise!

The best place to watch the parade is at the end of Main Street right next to the large Christmas Tree in Town Square.  There will also actually be a place reserved for guests in wheelchairs right next to there.  It's a great location because the parade will be coming towards you and you will be directly facing Cinderella Castle.  A friend, fellow panelist Marc L., and I stood there last year and we got the most amazing pictures.

The best place to see Wishes is at the other end of Main Street, about 30 yards beyond Casey's Corner towards Cinderella Castle.  You should have no problems getting right into the middle of Main Street just before the show starts, but I've never tried doing that with a guest in a wheelchair.  My recommendation would be to show up at least 15 minutes early there.

Be sure to do all of the special party events that night, especially the show on the Castle Forecourt Stage.  Most guests really enjoy it.  Also be sure to bring your camera for some amazing photo opportunities.  You'll see a lot of characters that you don't normally see and most will be in their winter costumes!

Have a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
