Do we have to use our tickets for MKingdom to take the monorail to the Polynesian Resort after parking in MK parking lot? (We are not staying at a Disney resort)

    Hi Stacy,

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question.  You don't need to have a park ticket to ride the monorail to any of the stops on the resort monorail loop.  In fact, one of the things that I love the most about the monorail is that you can use it to explore Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney's Contemporary Resort without having to drive.  I often make dining reservations at one of these gorgeous resorts, especially Disney's Polynesian Village Resort...that's my favorite!

I hope that you are able to carve out some time for exploring these beautiful venues.  It really is worth it!  Wishing you a pixie dusted day, Stacy!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
