If I have my tickets mailed to me can I add fast pass reservations before I receive the tickets in the mail? Or will I need to wait until I receive them to be able to make fast pass+ reservations?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vanessa! I’m so glad to hEAR about your upcoming vacation! I totally understand about the want to make your FastPass+ reservations. I never like waiting longer than I need to for my favorite rides like Flight of Passage and Peter Pan’s Flight!

While you may not have to have your tickets in hand to make your FP+ reservations, you will have to have them connected to My Disney Experience. You will automatically have them linked to your family’s profiles if your purchased them online, but if you bought hard copy tickets from an outside source, such as a military attractions desk, you will need to wait for them. That’s because there is a 12 digit number on the back of each hard ticket that is used to link them to your profile.

After your tickets are linked, you can then make your FastPass+ reservations up to 60 days in advance when staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or 30 days if staying off property. If I can help you with anything else during your vacation planning, please let me know. We’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
