    # tickets for 7 day stay? Are late xtra hrs worth doing? Do I try to plan everything for 8 ppl~kids r 4,10,12,13 or split & unite for meals? Celebrating 5th BD

    Hi Janet,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How fabulous to bring the whole crew to the Walt Disney World Resort!

For a seven-day visit, I would purchase five or six-day tickets. We rarely go to the parks on our last day. We tend to just finish packing and eat breakfast or lunch before heading to the airport. If you only do five-day tickets, you could use your arrival day to visit Disney Springs. On our upcoming visit this summer, we plan to dine at The Edison on our first evening and T-REX™ on another evening. T-REX™ has a Build a Dino® by Build-A-Bear® Workshop at T-REX™ adjacent to the restaurant - this could be a cute birthday present!

When I plan for family groups, I typically make all of the plans. I list everyone in My Disney Experience Account, link their theme park tickets, MagicBands and make dining reservations as well as Fast Pass+ selections. Others can create their own My Disney Experience Accounts to share plans. I also print a hard copy of our schedule to give to everyone just in case My Disney Experience is down while we are in the parks. You may need to split up and have someone ride with the 5-year old. She or he will not meet the height requirements for some of the rides the older kids want to experience. Just check the Attractions List to see height requirements.

Janet, yes, definitely do at least one late night with Extra Magic Hours! Just plan accordingly for the next day - nobody may want to get up early. Also, consider ordering one of the Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate an extra special birthday!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
