We have tickets already for the Halloween and Christmas parties. I know that the tickets do not include your park entry for the day but my question is if you are just going to the event do you also have to pay admission, and what time do they let us in?

Hi Jessica! It looks like you are going to have a wonderful and lengthy Walt Disney World vacation soon. It is awesome that you are able to attend both special event parties, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

When you purchase one of these special event tickets it is good for one person to enter the park for the time of the party. Additional park entry ticket is not required. Now for the best part of all of this......with this special ticket you are actually allowed to enter the Magic Kingdom at 4pm on the day of your party. This gives you three hours of extra time in the park without having to purchase a day ticket. Many guests use these days to head to a water park or Disney Springs or just relax and swim at the resort pool. Then they head over to the Magic Kingdom to enter at 4pm and enjoy 8 hours of fun whether it be Halloween theme or holiday theme.
