Do I have to have a ticket to a theme park to go to downtown disney? I was wanting to go the evening we got in town, before visiting theme parks on the following days.

    Hey Jennifer-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Free, free, freeee! Yes, I know but it is. Visiting Downtown Disney Area requires no theme park ticket and there is an entire theme park’s worth of entertainment, shopping and dining there. The question is, “Will you have enough time to conquer all that’s available?”

Will you dine? With over 30 delicious locations to choose from each with a unique theme, the possibilities seem endless. Should you go Jurassic and eat at T-Rex or enjoy Western Hemisphere delights at Paradiso 37, Taste of the America. Even Wolfgang Puck has a place and it is an epicurean delight!

Will you play? Disney Quest Indoor Interactive Theme Park is video gaming to the next level, Splitsville Luxury Lanes has 10 pins waiting for you and La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil’s entertainers will have you “ooh and ahh” over and over again.

Will you shop? D-Street’s hip threads and Vinylmations are sure to please, Mickey’s Pantry has just what your kitchen is missing and World of Disney well… has everything.

Maybe you just want to window shop, grab a churro, coffee or ice cream treat. To me, Downtown Disney Area is definitely an additional Walt Disney World Theme Park.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
