Thx for answering my question about monorail routes, it was EXACTLY what I was looking for! Another transportation question - is there a boat directly from GF to the Fort, or do we need to take monorail from GF to MK and then boat to Fort?

    Welcome Back Rebecca!

I am so happy that I was able to assist you!

By boat is my second favorite way to travel at Disney World.  There isn't a boat that goes directly from Disney's Grand Floridian (GF) to Fort Wilderness (FW).  You will need to take the Monorail from GF to the Magic Kingdom and then take the boat launch to FW.

You could also take a boat from GF to Magic Kingdom and then transfer to the boat that goes to FW.

The monorail station and boat launches at the Magic Kingdom are within short walking distance from each other.

A third option is taking the monorail from GF to the Contemporary Resort. From there you'll need to walk to the end of their dock and board a boat to FW. This is a little further to walk and navigate but fun if you have a few minutes to explore the Contemporary Resort.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance!  Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
