Throughout some of the resort listings I see reference to "Club Concierge-Level" where you are able to get some upgrades and more ammenities. Can you explain what this is and how would I go about getting it? Thanks! Love this website!

The deluxe resorts all have some sort of suite rooms or concierge level rooms available. These rooms are more expensive than regular rooms (depending on the size of your room, they can be A LOT more expensive). Most concierge level rooms are basically regular, or slightly larger than regular, rooms with access to a lounge and other special services. There are, however, some amazing suites hidden away in those hotels. For example, a friend of mine was chosen as part of the Year of A Million Dreams promotion to stay in the Presidential Suite at the Beach Club resort. She said it had several rooms, a working fireplace, a full dining table, stunning decor, and every imaginable luxury. (Yes, I'm jealous.) To get more pricing information for any of these special rooms, you would need to contact Disney reservations at 407-W-DISNEY.

While the amenities vary slightly from hotel to hotel, most of the concierge rooms are located on special key-access-only floors. The concierge level rooms have free access to a lounge area that will have something like a large TV and free newspapers, games, and similar diversions. Also in the lounge will be a complimentary continental breakfast. In fact, there will be food readily available throughout the day, including snack foods, early evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and later evening desserts. The one time I stayed in a Disney concierge room, we did end up saving a bit of money on food because we never needed to go out for breakfast or purchase separate snacks.

In addition to the lounge, concierge-level guests have access to cast members who can help with vacation planning, making reservations for restaurants and shows, and similar things. There is sometimes also a private check-in area that could speed things up a bit.

I have to say that our concierge level experience was pretty great, but as I mentioned, you're going to pay for that great experience.
