We are thrilled about our upcoming trip to Disney World with our daughters to run in the Food and Dine half marathon. Do you know if there are any scheduled appearances for the PJ Mask characters? My daughters LOVE them, especially Owlette and Gecko!

Hello there, Nicole! It sounds like you're going to have a feast of a time during your upcoming run-cation! The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Just last week, the Disney Parks Blog revealed the beautiful finisher medals- I'm dying to add that Patriotic Mickey one to my runDisney collection!

I've yet to see the PJ Masks Superhero Team at Walt Disney World, so I doubt you'll see them "go into the night, to save the day" during the Wine & Dine Half Marathon. However, your girls might enjoy meeting the Disney Junior Pals in the Animation Courtyard at Disney's Hollywood Studios during your trip. Here you'll find Vampirnia, Doc McStuffins, and Fancy Nancy posing for pictures and signing autographs.

One of the best parts of any runDisney race is having your favorite Disney characters to chEAR you on! The PhotoPass Photographers will be up bright and early to get your pictures with Chef Mickey and all his pals. Then, make sure to celebrate your achievements at the Post Race Party at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival beginning at 5:00 PM. You're sure to meet some rarely seen characters in their respective World Showcase countries such as The Three Caballeros, Mushu, Remy & Emile, Pinocchio, and Genie.

I hope you enjoy all the fun that Walt Disney World will cook up during your vacation, Nicole! Please come back and see us in the meantime, if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
