My three sisters and I (ages 67 - 54) will be visiting in January 2019. Hotel reservations have been made but would like to request connecting rooms for our stay. What is the best way to go about this?

Hi Donna! Thanks for sending us your question! Helping you with all the details of your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is one of our favorite things to do here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

First off, I think you’ve picked a great time of year to visit with your sisters. The weather is usually cooler and has been known to dip into the 40’s some nights, so be sure to pack some warm sweaters and pants just in case.

The best way to go about requesting connecting rooms for the length of your stay is to make a note on your Disney Resort hotel reservation. You can do that by calling a Resort Reservation Cast Member at (407) 939-1936. They will always do their best to accommodate your requests.

I like making a quick phone call for things like this because I feel like once I have a Cast Member on the phone, I can also ask them any other questions I might have about my stay.

Donna, as a Disney Resort hotel guest, you get to enjoy lots of benefits. If there are attractions that you and your sisters do not want to miss out on, make a note for yourself to make FastPass+ selections 60 days before your visit. The FastPass+ system saves you lots of time when it comes to waiting in line for your favorite attractions, because it holds your place in line ahead of time.

Don’t forget that you can also make your dining reservations 180 days before your visit. There are so many great new restaurants to experience at Disney Springs! The open-air mall is also a great place to take a nice walk, especially during the time of year that you will be visiting.

Feel free to stop by again with any other questions you might have! Have a magical visit!
