I thought I remembered Early Magic Hours being available for those who bought passes of 3 days or more. I cannot find any such information on the website. Did they change it? Or am I mis-remembering? Thank you!

    Hi Tina!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's a pleasure helping a fellow Texan. I have good news, and I have even better news. Yes, Early Magic Hours for guests who purchase at least three days of Disney Theme Park Tickets do still exist. However, this program with those rules is only for Disneyland Resort in California.

Here's the better news: Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, also offers extended theme park hours to guests of a Disney Resort Hotel, and a few select other properties, called Extra Magic Hours. With Extra Magic hours, a Disney Theme Park will either open one hour earlier than its daily listed Park Hours, or it will stay open for an additional one to three hours after the listed closing time. Best of all, Extra Magic Hours take place in at least one of Walt Disney World Resort's four Theme Parks every day!

What I love about Extra Magic Hours is that they are based on the nights you are staying in a participating hotel and not on how many days worth of tickets you purchase. In fact, as long as you have two days worth of Disney Theme Park Tickets, you very well could book a one-night reservation and shut one theme park down during it's evening Extra Magic Hours and then open another the very next morning. You might be pretty tired, but if you time your stay just right you'll have access to both.

I'm attaching a short video made by one of our Disney Dads, Wes (Another Texan!), that mentions a lot of other really awesome benefits of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. And bonus: here are even more Moms Panel planning video tips, too!

We'll See You Real Soon, Tina!
