Hi, James. I am so glad you stopped by with your question and I may have solved your dilemma. I do want to first run through a few things with you. First, make sure you have
linked your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account. The FastPass+ system will not open for you unless you have current theme park tickets attached to your account. Next, look up your
Walt Disney World Resort reservation and make sure it is correctly linked to the same account to which the tickets are linked. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, then you will be able to begin completion of FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance of your check-in date. However, if you are not staying on property, then your FastPass+ window will indeed open 30 days in advance of each day you plan to visit one of the theme parks.
Finally, if you do find that your Resort reservation and theme park tickets are correctly linked, then I think we have the ultimate solution for you. I double checked the FastPass+ window opening date for December 12, 2015, and I see that 60 days in advance of this date is actually October 13, 2015. Barring any other unforeseen issues, the FastPass+ system should expand out at midnight to cover your travel dates, given you fit the qualifications I mentioned above.
