Third trip to Disney but the first time staying on property. We've been to Downtown Disney before. What is Disney Springs and Disney Boardwalk and how are these things different than Downtown Disney?

    Hi Lori!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You've come to the right place to get all of the answers you need!

I know you are getting excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. For my family, each visit is just as magical as the first one! Downtown Disney has recently been undergoing some changes with new restaurants and shopping being added and has been renamed Disney Springs. It's the same great place that you visited in the past with a fresh new look and name. Disney's BoardWalk is a promenade of shopping, dining and nightlife located along the water's edge in front of Disney's BoardWalk Inn. In the afternoons and evenings, you'll find street performers and midway games to entertain you as you stroll along. It's a short walk from Epcot and a breezy boat ride from Disney's Hollywood Studios if you decide you would like to venture over and check it out.

I hope your vacation is full of pixie dust and magical memories! If we can help with anything else, just let us know. Happy planning!
