We were thinkking about renting an ECV, are you allowed to take the ECV on the monorail, buses, boats?

    Hi Doug!

If you are renting an Electronic Convenience Vehicle (ECV) from the parks, you cannot take it out of the parks.  If you are renting from an outside company, you can take it wherever you want to go.  All of the buses, monorails and the big ferry boats that go from the Ticket and Transportation Center to the Magic Kingdom are ECV accessible and *some* of the smaller ferry boats can accommodate wheelchairs.  If you are at a ferry boat dock, talk to the Cast Member and inform them that you need a ferry boat for your ECV.  If there isn't already one in route, they will send one over to you.

When my mom visits Walt Disney World with us, she always brings her scooter.  We never have any issues on the Disney World transportation with it.

    Have a magical day!
