I am thinking of visiting at the beginning of July 2013. I have been there in Sep, early Dec and Jan and they were great times with little crowds.I have heard some people say that it is crazy to go at that time. What do you think? Will I be disappointed

    Hi Petra!

It is hard to say.  The parks will be open later into the night and some guests really enjoy that aspect of visiting in the summer time.  In fact, I've been in the Magic Kingdom as late as 3 am courtesy of Evening Extra Magic Hours.  It is also hot and some guests love visiting both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach in the summer time.  My family generally goes during the winter months, but we have gone in the summer when we wanted to concentrate on the water parks as opposed to the theme parks.

However, it is true that July is a lot busier; in fact, I personally believe that the July is the busiest month of the year at Walt Disney World.

My recommendation is only to go in July if you can tolerate the Florida heat and humidity and you don't mind very large crowds, or if you want to spend a lot of time in Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
