We're thinking of visiting around my son's 3rd birthday. We would stay at an off site timeshare the first half and at a DVC resort the second half. My question is: If my son turns three at any point during our trip does he need a ticket?

    HI Samantha!

I think you've picked a great age to visit Disney World! I wish I could recapture those magical years with my own kids and see the awe light up their eyes again! While they still love the parks, the experiences are totally different these days!!

Now, on to your question: if your son is not yet three when you start trip (i.e. you check in when he is 2 and his birthday is the next day), then Disney will consider him to be 2 during the entire trip.

I hope this helps! Have a great vacation and Happy Birthday to your little on
