We are thinking about a trip to Disney in March 2013. We will have a 1 year old, 3 year old and 5 year old. Are they to young? Are we setting ourselves up for disaster?

    Hi Nicole,

I know that traveling with small kids can seem daunting, but traveling to WDW with little ones is actually pretty great. There are high chairs at every restaurant, changing tables in every restaurant, and kiddie pools at every hotel. You really can't find a more family friendly place. I visited WDW several times with my own three children when they were all under age five and had a wonderful time.

Some things that can help are:

    - Chose 3-5 things you want to accomplish each day (rides, shows, meals, etc.). Consider anything beyond this to be gravy.
    - Make advance reservations for any must-do meals, particularly character dining experiences.
    - Get familiar with the baby care centers in the parks. These are a fabulous resource for young families.
    - Plan for a nice dinner out with your Mister. There are sitting services at WDW that can give you a relaxing break.

You may also want to take a look at the independent website blog.touringplans.com. Search there for an article called "What's the Right Age to Visit Disney World." You'll likely find the comments section very comforting.

And remember, we're here to help you every step of the way. Please let us know if you have ANY questions about planning your trip.
