Hi Moms, I was thinking about traveling to DW in August but was wondering if that was a good month? Have there typically been any deals going on that month? How is the weather? How busy do the parks get during that month? And anything else u can think of?

August is a great month to visit Walt Disney World. Sure it might be a bit warm and the humidity could be a bit higher, but that just means more water fun! Now anytime schools are on vacation, the parks are usually busier, but it just means you have to try to do something different.

On those warm days we head on over to the Disney Water Parks. There are two cool water parks that have easy local access via Disney transportation. Whether it's Disney's Blizzard Beach or Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, you will find a paradise that provides relief from those hot summer days. At Bizzard Beach we like to ace on the Tobaggon Racers, while my family loves a liesurely float down Cross Country Creek,. Either way the water parks are the place to be.

If you want another water adventure, try the Kali River Rapids at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.

No matter what, Walt Disney World has you covered for August.
