    Tawnie from MS Asked

Hello I am thinking of traveling to Disneyland parks alone w/ a 8 yo and 1 yo. Obviously the 8 yo can ride almost all of the rides. Can I wait in line with my LO for the rides my 8 yo can ride but LO can not? Rider swap is wonderful but won't work here!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tawnie. Thanks for stopping by.

You're absolutely able to line up with your 8 year old, even though you and your 1 year old won't be riding it. Children over 7 years of age are able to ride an attraction on their own, provided that they meet height requirement.

Tawnie, just so you know, there are plenty of calmer rides that all 3 of you can enjoy together. For example, Mickey's Fun Wheel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Heimlich's Chew Chew Train are some of the ones I enjoyed riding with my kids when they were really little.

I hope this information is helpful for you and please don't hesitate to drop by the Panel with more questions for us.
    Have an enchanted day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
