Thinking of Thanksgiving '13 & know it is very busy. Is it busier than mid August? Which park is usually less crowded on Thanksgiving Day?

    Hi Cynthia!!

Thank you so much for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!!

Yes, the week of Thanksgiving is busier than mid-August at the Walt Disney World Resort.  Thanksgiving is actually one of the more crowded times of the year outside of Christmas/New Year's and Spring Break/Easter since schools are out.

I would recommend visiting either Disney's Animal Kingdom or Disney's Hollywood Studios on Thanksgiving Day.  The Magic Kingdom and Epcot are normally the two theme parks that are the most crowded on holidays.  I would definitely recommend making any desired Advance Dining Reservations you want for Thanksgiving (if any) exactly at the 180 day mark!

I hope this helps and that you have a magical day!
