Hi Stephanie! I think 2010 would be a great year for you to visit Walt Disney World! I definitely wouldn't wait a year -- you'll find that your trip is more expensive if you do. Here's why: Your children's park tickets and dining plan would be more expensive in a year -- your older child would be 10 and would require an adult theme park ticket and dining plan, instead of the less expensive child ones. Your two-year-old could visit the Disney parks for free this year, but would have to buy a child's ticket next year. Also, your two-year-old can eat free at the buffets at Disney this year, but would have to pay the child's meal price next year.
Disney has resort hotels for every price range. Check out the
value resorts -- they have fun themes, are usually less than $100 per night, and give you perks such as extra hours in the parks and the free Magical Express airport shuttle service. The
dining plan is a good way to maximize your food budget at Disney: for one price, you receive a snack, counter-service, and table-service meal each day.
Check out the
Special Offers page on the Disney website where you'll often find discounted resort room rates and vacation packages. Sign up to receive emails about WDW vacations, and you might even find a special discount from Disney in your email box. Also, take a peek at
www.mousesavers.com, where you'll find lots of tips for saving money on your Disney vacation.
Hope to see you at Disney this year!
