I was thinking about taking my daughter and her cousins for her 16th birthday. We were planning on staying the night. Any suggestions to make it very special?

Hi there, Nicole! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!

Celebrating a sweet 16 at the Disneyland Resort sounds incredibly magical! I just happen to have a few ideas for you to explore to bring that extra touch of pixie dust to your daughter and her cousins. First, book a reservation at one of the signature restaurants in the parks for dinner. I particularly like Blue Bayou Restaurant and Carthay Circle Restaurant as they both offer exquisite cuisine in really beautiful settings. You can make the meal even more special by booking a World of Color or Fantasmic! dining package which will provide reserved viewing for the show in addition to your tasty meal. A custom birthday cake can even be delivered to your table if you order in advance.

Next, help the birthday girl ride all her favorite attractions with minimal waits by adding Disney MaxPass to your tickets. This will allow you to make FASTPASS selections on your mobile device through the Disneyland app which will save you all sorts of time and steps.

Finally, if you will be staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, I suggest ordering an in-room celebration or gift basket to be delivered to your room as a surprise to your daughter. There are lots of different options to choose from and you can even customize your own gift basket with all sorts of gifts and goodies. It's really fun to return to your room after a day in the parks to realize that the magic followed you home!

I hope your daughter has an amazing birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth!
