Thinking of staying on property the night prior to our cruise. Suggestions on things to do that don't involve going to a park??

    Hi there, Steph!

I am so happy you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  There really is so much to do at the Walt Disney World Resort outside of the parks.

The first thing that comes to mind for me is the Downtown Disney Area.  It is there you will find the world's largest Disney store and amazing shops, restaurants and entertainment.  You really should consider it. There is so much to do and you would be entertained for as long or as little as you like.

I don't know where you plan to stay, but each Walt Disney World Resort hotel is a destination in itself.  No matter the resort, you will find plenty of Disney magic there to keep you entertained for your brief stay.  A visit to Animal Kingdom Lodge will provide you with excellent dining options as well as a view of the amazing animals in the savannas.  How about a visit to Disney's Boardwalk?  It is located on the water and provides the feel of a coastal boardwalk.  It's really quite charming.  Take a look!

Whatever you decide, I am certain you will enjoy your time on property at Walt Disney World.

Until then I wish you a magical vacation!
