We are thinking about staying 2 nights at a value resort, then 3 nights at a luxury resort to get a little more variety. My husband, however, thinks this might be a hassle and not worth it. What are your thoughts?

    Hi Erin,

The Disney Resorts are all wonderful and many have significantly different themes from each other. I have switched Resorts on many trips. In fact, I stayed in 3 different ones on my last WDW vacation (it's my goal to stay in all of the Resorts at some point).

I think your idea is fantastic. I personally would suggest that you spend Park days during the time that you are in a Value Resort. If you were planning on a relaxing pool day, then save that for when you are in one of the incredible Deluxe Resorts.

Switching Resorts is actually quite simple. All you need to do is pack up your bags and leave them with Bell Services in the morning before heading out to the Parks. Let them know which Resort you are moving to and request a luggage transfer. Then at the end of the day, hop on a bus bound for your new Resort. Your luggage will be waiting there for you when you arrive.

Hope this helps and have a wonderful vacation,
