We are thinking about coming there the weekend of easter and the week after how busy is it usually?

Hi, Susan! Thank you for hopping over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

How exciting to be planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation around Easter time! Although holidays can attract more Guests, with proper planning, you and your family will have an Egg-celent time! With Easter and some Spring Breaks overlapping this yEAR, it is wise to plan to make Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days before your arrival as many Disney Restaurants fill up quickly. Also, if you are planning on staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you will be able to make your FastPass+ Reservations 60 days before your vacation gets started! I will mention that if your goal is to experience as many Attractions as possible, you may be disappointed as wait times may be higher than at other times. That being said, if you want to experience the magic that Disney has to offer around Easter time, and plan on experiencing your FastPass+ Attractions (and maybe a few more) each day, then I say go for it!

Speaking of Easter magic, in the past, you could meet with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at Magic Kingdom Park, hunt for Easter Eggs at Epcot, view beautiful chocolate Easter Egg displays at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa as well as special Easter brunch and breakfast offerings! Last but not least, springtime is when beautiful topiaries, outdoor kitchens and more abound in Epcot during the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival, my favorite festival!

    Happy planning!
