    Karen Asked

We are thinking of coming for Thanksgiving 2010. Here's a question...in the past has Disney had deals around Thanksgiving or has everything been full price in the past?

    Karen,

The week of Thanksgiving is the second busiest time of the year at Walt Disney World, trailing only the two weeks surrounding Christmas up to New Year's Day. While I have no official insight on this, I find it very unlikely that they are going to offer any discount promotions at this time, since they have no problem at all filling up their hotels and parks.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but better to know that now than hope for something that might never come.

I will say, however, if you are able to visit in early December, you will find that the parks are festively decorated, and the crowds are really quite low. It is a great time to visit, if you can get kids out of school!

If I can help with other timing questions, I am glad to offer some suggestions. Just send me another question!

    Have a magical vacation!
