Thinking about coming for Christmas. I'm worried the meaning of Christmas may be lost at Disney. Do the parks do anything spiritual? I have heard of the processional. What in detail is that? Thx!

    Hi Danelle,

The Candlelight Processional is a moving, spiritual event which takes place nightly between Thanksgiving and Christmas in the American Showcase amphitheater at Epcot. A celebrity narrator tells the story of the Nativity, backed by a 50-piece orchestra and a mass choir.

The story and music, including classics such as O Holy Night and Joy to the World, have the reverence of a church service. The processional is sure to remind you of the reason you celebrate the season.

Please let me know if I can answer other questions as you plan your visit. I love Christmas time at Walt Disney World. Enjoy!
