    Simone from BC Asked

Thinking of booking the November 3 to 8 Disney Wonder cruise to Mexico out of San Diego. Are we too late for the early dinner seating? What about for the October 14 to 18 cruise on the Disney Wonder out of San Diego?

    Ahoy, Simone!

It's great to hEAR from you again! I love the idea of a last-minute cruise because it means you have a very short wait until you are enjoying all the MAGIC and WONDER only a Disney Cruise Line vacation can offer. Isn't that exciting? The Disney Wonder is a destination in itself with all that you can experience onboard, and you'll love sailing from the beautiful city of San Diego

Simone, since both of these cruises are just around the corner, you may find first seating to be full at this time. But, there is always a chance you could be moved to this seating if you put your name on the waitlist at the time of booking. If you don't see any movement before you set sail, you will want to check with the dining team once you board the ship. There will be directions on how to change your dining time on the front of the Personal Navigator that you'll receive when you check-in at the terminal. My family typically dines during second seating, and one of the perks to this time is "Dine & Play." This program allows for any young sailors between 3-12 to have their meal expediated, so they can leave early to go to the Oceaneer Club or Oceaneer Lab. About an hour into the meal, the youth counselors will come around to each dining room to pick up any kiddos who are interested in leaving early. The servers are great about having meals out fast once you tell them your Mouseketeers are participating in "Dine & Play."

If you are on the fence with which sailing to pick, Simone, you may want to consider the one in October if you'd like to enjoy a Halloween on the High Seas voyage. This festive cruise offers a little extra pixie dust with the holiday happenings planned.

Best of luck with your decision! If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
