Thinking of booking a character breakfast at Akershus. However, we may choose not to spend one of our days at Epcot. Can you do the character dining without using a park ticket for Epcot? (i.e. go to breakfast and leave for another park)?

You'll need a admission ticket any time you want to enter a park, even if it's only to go to a restaurant. In order to enter two parks in one day, for any reason, you would need to have a Park Hopper ticket. Situations like this are the reason that my family always buys the Park Hopper add-on for our admission tickets.

Have a great visit to WDW!
