We are thinking of booking an Alaska cruise while we are on our Disney Cruise in a few weeks. The ship will be the Wonder. Any recommendations of the best room or area on the ship to reserve?

Welcome aboard, Kathy! There are so many benefits to booking another Disney cruise while you’re on the ship. Guests who do so may receive a discount on the future cruise, onboard credit for the future cruise, and a reduced deposit for the future cruise! Talk about a great deal! Plus, when it’s time to leave the ship, waving goodbye won’t be so hard because you’ll actually be able to say “See Ya’ Real Soon!” instead!

I'm so glad you’re going to book the Wonder for your next sailing, as the classic ships are such a different experience from the Fantasy and Dream! Plus, heading to Alaska is quite a unique sailing adventure! And did you hear that the Wonder is about to undergo an exciting re-imagination this fall? You'll get to enjoy all of the new experiences and venues onboard next year!

My family loves to book staterooms that are Midship so that we are able to get to one end or the other quickly no matter what. And we prefer to sail on a mid-level deck, like 6. If you have kids, this is great because you’re one flight of stairs away from the Oceaneer Club and Lab, and only three away from the pool deck. Of course, the elevators will take you anywhere, but having a quick stair option is so convenient! You’ll enjoy the shorter walks from one side of the ship to the other on the Wonder, as it feels like much less of a haul than on the two larger ships, so even if you end up booking a room in the Forward or Aft, it won’t take nearly as long as you’d think to get to the opposite end.

When you start searching different sail dates on Disney Cruise Line’s webpage, you can view the available staterooms and choose one that looks like it’ll be the perfect spot on the ship for your family.
    Have fun planning!
