Hi. Thinking of booking AKL but seen the refurbished rooms all seem to have walk in showers. Do any of them still have baths? I’d really rather not battle with keeping our toddler upright and in situ every night in a shower!

    Jambo Imogen!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge places you in the heart of Africa. This traditionally inspired African resort will dazzle you with the exciting Savanna View room options! After speaking with the Cast Members on Pride Rock, I was told that all Standard and Savanna view rooms include a tub/shower combination in the rooms! Hakuna Matata, bath time with your little cub will be a breeze!

Since you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, I recommend checking out the many other benefits included for Disney Resort Hotel Guets! Extra Magic Hours, Early Access to FastPass+ Planning, and the option to add a Disney Dining Plan are some of my favorites!

I can’t forget my cub’s favorite benefit, Disney’s Magical Express! This motorcoach is what kicks off our family vacation as soon as we arrive at Orlando International Airport! My cubs always say that it’s the first and last ride of our trip!

As Rafiki would say, “Asante Sana Squash Banana!”
