Thinking of attending the MNSSHP, do you think it is worth the extra cost of $250. ? I'm still unclear as to what you received beyond the extra magic hours, other than the Halloween theme parade.

    Hi Patricia,

Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween has a lot to offer.  There is an exclusive parade and fireworks show.  I'm normally not impressed by fireworks, but the Halloween fireworks are like nothing I have ever seen.  I watched them from Fantasyland last year and it seems like they were coming from every building.  We were completely immersed in them.  That experience along with the great soundtrack made for a very memorable experience.

My family also enjoys the light crowds and many the extra events throughout the park, like the dance party.  Last year there were also rarely seen characters available for meet and greets.  We got to see Snow White and all 7 dwarfs, which was very cool.  Through the park there are also trick and treat stations.  We also took advantage of being able to go on any ride with close to no wait.  The park is not very crowded and you can jump from ride to ride extremely easily.

Another interesting aspect of the night is the other guests.  We saw some great costumes.  We were very impressed by the quality and creativity that went into makeup and costume design.  We saw a group of people all dressed up as the ghosts from Haunted Mansion.  It looked like they just walked off a movie set.

I think its worth it and we will be attending this year for the 4th time.
