What do you think about staying at art of animation with 3 adults (grandma is coming) 8, 5 and 1 yr old? I'm afraid of the crowds and long bus lines. Its between that and FW Cabin, or 2 moderate rooms. Thanks!!

    Hello Jennifer!

My family just got back from a Walt Disney World vacation with grandma! It was nice to have an extra pair of hands to help with the children and have a babysitter for a night out. If it were my family I would choose Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

Here are my top reasons for choosing it over the others. I actually prefer the bus service at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, because it does not share bus transportation with other resorts. It does not have covered bus stops, but I like that there is an organized line. Also I have children that are around the ages of your children, and I love having a pool with zero-entry for little ones. The pool is fantastic! The themed family suites are brilliant with all the details from Walt Disney and Disney Pixar movies. Plus you get a kitchenette. Food options are plentiful in Landscape of Flavors. It is probably my favorite food court on all of Walt Disney World property.

If you think grandma might enjoy some more privacy, then I would choose two moderate hotel rooms. My favorite is Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter. It is smaller, charming, and offers beignets in the food court. Beignets! Need I say more?

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Have a magical, fantastical vacation!
