Do you think it's possible to do Wild Africa Trek and AM in one day? Would it be better to do Wild Africa Trek in am , rest in afternoon then do MVMCP ? We'll be taking our 12 & 14 yr old grandaughters. Am I crazy for trying this?

    Jambo Anna!

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel. You're planning some amazing Walt Disney World adventures with your granddaughters and you have lots of magic awaiting you.

I know my good friend and fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist Ashley offered great advice for enjoying a relaxing day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge before heading to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and I couldn't agree more. The festive fun keeps going from 7:00 p.m. to midnight, so taking it easy beforehand is helpful. Last year, I enjoyed Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party with Ashley and our giddy gang of fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists, and we ran around like happy holiday elves taking in all the Christmas magic. I'm sure you'll be making Disney Christmas memories that are just as precious.

Because Wild Africa Trek requires a separate admission to Disney's Animal Kingdom, it would be great to make the most of your park admission and experience more of that park that day. I think Pandora – The World of Avatar, its breathtaking Valley of Mo'ara, and the indescribably awesome Avatar Flight of Passage are simply must-do experiences. Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, Finding Nemo - The Musical, and Festival of the Lion King are also personal favorites. Be sure to make your FastPass+  selections.

Anna, my suggestion would be to enjoy Wild Africa Trek and the remainder of that day in Disney's Animal Kingdom, and celebrate Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party when it's offered for another day in your week.

You really are making Christmas magical for your granddaughters.

    Enjoy your Disney!
