Do you think it is possible to go to the 9:00 Fantasmic show and still make it to a good place to view the Star Wars a Galactic Spectacular at 9:45? Or would it be better to forgo the Fantasmic show if a good view of the Star Wars show is important?

    Hi there Barbara!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  My family visited Disney's Hollywood Studios on Sunday and watched Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular at 9:45 p.m. Although we did not watch Fantasmic! on that particular evening, we arrived to get a spot for the firework display approximately 10 minutes prior to the start.  I found that there were still great viewing areas available. That being said, Fantasmic! is a 30 minute show and it has often taken us approximately 10 - 15 minutes to exit the amphitheater depending on where our seats were located.  If you have seen Fantasmic! previously and want to ensure securing a great spot to view the fireworks, then I would suggest skipping it this time. However, if you have not been able to see Fantasmic! on a previous trip, I personally feel it is a "must do" experience when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.  If you do decide to see Fantasmic!, I would start making your exit as soon as the show is over.  I also wanted to mention that most Guests (including my family) remained standing for Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular. I definitely think it is possible to experience both if you are okay with standing for the fireworks.

I hope this information is helpful in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to reach out again with any additional questions that you may have. May the Force be with you, Barbara!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
